We cut, color and look after hair of every length and texture, from a first bob to a wedding morning, and every price is on the list before you book. One flight up
The door is between the bookshop and the chandlery, under a small iron sign. Take the stairs to the second floor. There is no lift, so tell us if stairs are hard and we will meet you at the street door.
The price list
Every price here is the price, with the finish included and nothing added at the till. What changes it is the level of the stylist you choose, never the length or thickness of your hair. Pick who you would like below and the list shows what you pay for each service, written out in full.

Four chairs, one room
Number 9 sold nails by the pound for ninety years. We kept the iron hooks, the long counter and the name.
The room
Up one flight, a long room with two tall windows on the square. Color is mixed by weight at the old shop counter and written on your card.

Everyone cuts and colors. Each of us also has the thing people travel for.

Bobs, crops and blunt lines that grow out well. Dara cuts dry to check the line, and the fringe tidy between cuts is on the house for her regulars.
