Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Koalition Interactive LLC, doing business as Sitestove ("we"), collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers sitestove.com, our emails, and the websites we host for clients.
What we collect
- When you use our form: your name, email address, business name, website address, and anything you write in the message.
- When you become a client: your billing details (handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number), contact details, and the content you supply for your website.
- When we email you: whether our emails were delivered. We do not track opens or clicks.
- When you visit sitestove.com: our host and font provider receive standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type, which they use to deliver the site. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
Business information we use for previews
To show a business what a new website could look like, we may use information the business has already made public, such as its name, address, phone number, opening hours, and text or photos from its website or public listings. We use it only to build a private preview for that business, hidden from search engines and marked as a Sitestove preview. If the business does not reply, we delete the preview and the copied material within 30 days. If you want us to delete a preview of your business sooner, email us.
How we use information
- To reply to your inquiry and send you your preview.
- To provide, bill for and support the service.
- To send occasional emails about Sitestove. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and we stop when you ask.
- To meet legal and tax obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers below.
Service providers we use
- Vercel (hosting of sitestove.com and client websites)
- Cloudflare (domain and DNS)
- Resend (sending email)
- Google Workspace (our email)
- Stripe (payments)
- Adobe Fonts (fonts on sitestove.com)
Each provider processes data only to provide its service to us. Some are based in the United States, so your information may be processed there.
How long we keep it
- Inquiries that do not become clients: up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Previews for businesses that do not reply: deleted within 30 days.
- Client records: for as long as you are a client, plus the period the law requires us to keep billing records (usually up to 7 years).
- Client website content: deleted 30 days after the service ends, unless you asked for an export (see the Terms of Service).
Your rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, export or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop emailing you. Email andreas@sitestove.com and we will reply within 30 days. If you are in the EU, UK, California or another place with privacy laws, you may have further rights under those laws, and you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Websites we host for clients
On a client's website, the client decides what information its visitors are asked for (for example through a contact form). The client is responsible for its own privacy notice to its visitors; we process that information on the client's behalf only to run the site.
Children
Our service is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will tell clients by email.
